How Boulder 6.3 Herbicide Works
Boulder 6.3 Herbicide contains triclopyr, a chemical that mimics plant hormones. After an application, the active ingredient eliminates and prevents weed growth in the target areas. Because of its organic nature, triclopyr breaks down into several different compounds before finally breaking down into carbon dioxide. It's slightly toxic to fish and birds depending on the species but is considered safe to use in the target areas.
Where to Use Boulder 6.3 Herbicide
Use Boulder 6.3 herbicide anywhere woody plants and broadleaf weeds invade public and private land. It's efficient at killing weeds in forests and grass pastures, including:
- Conservation Reserve Program lands
- Industrial sites
- Ornamental turf
- Nonirrigation ditches
- Rights of way
Target Weeds
Boulder 6.3 Herbicide targets woody plants such as oaks, poison ivy and wax myrtles. It also kills various annual and perennial weeds such as dandelions, ragweed and sweet clover. Other target pests include:
- Buckthorn
- Chicory
- Kudzu
- Smartweed
- Sweetgum
- Yarrow
Eradicate Weeds With Boulder 6.3 Herbicide
Take out unwanted broadleaf weeds and woody plants in noncrop areas with Boulder 6.3 herbicide. With triclopyr as its active ingredient, this herbicide starts to work on contact and provides residual control for three months. It controls weed growth in grass pastures and forests and helps eliminate woody plants along rights of way and nonirrigation ditch banks.
