D-Force Aerosol Insecticide, formerly known as D-Force HPX Insecticide, provides maximum pest control against 50 different insect species.
How D-Force Insecticide Works
Many insecticides contain a synthetic pyrethroid or a natural pyrethrum for killing pests. These ingredients work similarly to one another; however, synthetic versions tend to provide more effective results for longer periods when compared to natural alternatives. All pyrethroids act on various insect pests and have lower toxicity to mammals, making them safer to use around people and pets.
D-Force Insecticide aerosol contains deltamethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that comes in liquid, powder, dust and granular forms. This active ingredient has no incompatibilities. Therefore, it can be used in combination with other insecticides for maximum pest control in residential and commercial areas. Because it's in aerosol form, it applies easily to target surfaces without the need to use mixing or spraying equipment.
The active ingredient Deltamethrin attacks the pest's nervous system, causing hyperexcitation in its muscles. It works on contact and by ingestion, providing two ways to target the intended pest. The pest becomes paralyzed within minutes of application and dies soon afterward. This ingredient knocks down the insects quickly and leaves behind a dry residual for up to two months of preventative control.
Where to Use D-Force Aerosol Spray
Use D-Force aerosol spray indoors and outdoors to eliminate numerous flying and crawling insect pests. The convenient spray can be directed at any angle to knock down flies in living areas and to kill roaches in cabinets. It's safe to use outdoors as a perimeter treatment to prevent infestations around foundations and to keep pests from raiding the property.
It's labeled for use not only indoors and outdoors but also in vehicles such as ships, campers and trucks. It keeps pests out of warehouses and bedbugs out of hotels; it also controls many other resistant pests like fleas. Use D-Force aerosol insecticide in and around the following places and more:
- Airports
- Apartments
- Basements
- Bathrooms
- Cabins
- Carports
- Decks
- Driveways
- Garages
- Hospitals
- Industrial sites
- Kitchens
- Offices
- Pet bedding
- Storage areas
- Utility rooms
- Wineries
Target Pests
Insects are more susceptible to pyrethroids than mammals are. The active ingredient in D-Force prevents the pests from grooming, feeding and performing other actions. When treating specific insects like fleas and bedbugs, remove the infested pet bedding before applying the product. Destroy or clean the bedding, and spray the pet area. Never apply D-Force directly to an animal. Although it's safe to use around pets, the active ingredient poses some risk before it has dried.
Treat the cracks and crevices in the target area to reach hidden pests like fleas, bedbugs, ticks and roaches. Spray it in voids to target spiders and other invasive pests that may be lurking out of sight. D-Force can be sprayed directly on insects and their nests to kill individuals or entire colonies at once. It's also a good idea to treat the areas along baseboards, inside cabinets and under furniture where pests travel and rest. Because the ingredient remains active after application, it continues to kill pests for eight weeks.
Use D-Force aerosol insecticide to kill as many as 50 pest species. It eliminates ants indoors and outdoors and prevents silverfish from infesting bathrooms and kitchens. Apply this contact and residual pesticide to eliminate:
- Termites
- Centipedes
- Sowbugs
- Ticks
- Carpenter bees
- Gnats
- Mole crickets
- Fleas
- Roaches
- Pillbugs
- Earwigs
