How Termidor Foam Works
Termidor products such as SC and Foam contain the same active ingredient to combat termites: fipronil. This slow-acting chemical goes undetected by the colony and spreads quickly among the insects. It attacks a termite's central nervous system and causes hyperexcitation, making the insect lose its basic motor functions. The termite will die within days of the application but not before passing the chemical along to other members through contact or by sharing the bait.
Where to Use Termidor Foam
Use Termidor Foam in cracks, crevices and voids to kill termites and other wood-damaging insects like carpenter ants. It's ideal for homes and businesses, including areas that are prone to termite infestations such as fences, telephone poles and other wooden timbers. Though Termidor Foam excels at fighting termite infestations, it doesn't provide the same results as a foundation or soil treatment.
Target Pests
Termidor contains fipronil, which is used to combat many different pest insects such as ants, fleas, termites and more. Foam has a very low percentage of the active ingredient but more than enough to kill termites and carpenter ants. It's also great for controlling powder post beetles and wharf borers.
Reasons to Use Termidor Foam
- Slow-acting process for targeting the colony
- Kills termites, carpenter ants and other wood-destroyers
- Works as an outdoor spot treatment
- Provides termite control in homes, offices and other buildings
Say Hello to Termidor and Goodbye to Termites
Termites cause a lot of damage in a short amount of time. With Termidor Foam, a destructive colony doesn't have long to live. It goes to work on contact and through digestion and wipes out an infestation in days. It's easy to apply with the attached applicator and protects wooden timbers from further damage. Because it's a slow-kill product, the active ingredient continues to work on surfaces and kills wandering termites and ants.
