TriStar 8.5 SL insecticide contains acetamiprid as the active ingredient. This odorless, organic compound targets leaf-sucking insects and plant-damaging larvae such as the fruit fly. It works by interrupting the insect's brain signals and causing excitement within 30 minutes. Afterward, the ingredient leads to paralysis in the target pest and finally kills it. It starts working upon ingestion and may affect certain pests upon contact. TriStar 8.5 SL targets all life stages of the insect, from the eggs and the larvae to the adults themselves.
Where to Use TriStar 8.5 Insecticide
Use TriStar 8.5 SL insecticide both indoors and outdoors where flying and plant-sucking insects thrive. It's useful for fighting aphid infestations in greenhouses and killing mealy bugs on outdoor flowering plants.
